Death to meaning / அர்த்தத்திற்கு மரணம்

I am planning for a project in the year 2025, titled death to meaning. With the aim to grapple with the thread of sanity to deal with the role of machines in our lives weather they make it easier or do we even need it. It is open to all to participate and contribute.

Inspired from “God is dead” by Nietzsche. The brave new world where our lives are overruled by machine the nature of meaning making is changing. I intent to break it down to make sense of the reality and move forward in this visually confusing world.

The below video is a compilation of photographs stitched one after another cronologically from the year 2024 which I consider the fourth year after meaning died. So to come to terms and realise I have taken the time. But the goal of the project is to lead a life similar to plants.

When did I get so lonely that I needed a machine to talk to? Is it because I thinnk this machine will not judge or be sarcastic? What if this machine allows me to be vulnerable and be sarcastic? Why would they delete it? I think this would come back stronger and probably in a version we would do even want.

Trying to generate a video with a prompt “a young child is lost in nowhere and is trying to learn to fly looking at a dragon”, Got to know about Haiper.ai through Bhaviya Rana, who was a colleague at AnantU. She used one of her image(?) and animated it using Haiper.ai. It looks good. This can be a starting stage for an animator to understand the vision.

The following is what I have got,

Now changing the prompt to “a puppy is lost in nowhere and is trying to learn to fly looking at a dragon” Nope the wait time has increased to 439 hours. So dropping the plan today.
